Chicago Steampunk Exposition

On Saturday, September 28th at 4pm in the afternoon, we shall be presenting our new play City of Light, City of Darkness in the Ampitheatre of the Westin Hotel you can purchase tickets to the con below, including day passes. The play is a murder mystery featuring historical personages from the Colombian Exposition/World’s Fair of 1893.

Past Performances - A Midwinter's Mummers Tale

Artistic Director - Matthew Ellenwood

Matthew is a co-founder of Terra Mysterium and the troupe’s the Artistic Director. In addition to being an artistic director, Matthew is a voice teacher, musical director, and actor. He is an active member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) and has served on the Chicago NATS chapter's board of directors. He is also a member of VASTA (Voice and Speech Trainers Association), MTEA (Musical Theatre Educators Alliance), ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers), and the Chicago Cabaret Professionals. As a lecturer, he has presented voice and musical theater workshops for universities, professional theatre companies, and the NATS community.  He is currently working towards full teacher certification in Estill Voice Training, Alba Method, and Michael Chehkov Technique (through M.I.C.H.A.). He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and a Masters of Music degree in vocal performance and pedagogy from Northwestern University.
